Mixing Operator - Supplements Manufacturing

We are an established, fast growing company on the move and are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable Mixing Machine Operator to join our at our Ashford premises.
You will be operating our mixing machines. This is done Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00. This role is essential to the day-to-day operations and requires a high level of precision and care.
This job would be ideal for an individual who has previous experience working in a bakery or in dry goods, however wants the consistent day hours of a factory job.
Duties:
- Setting up the mixers as instructed
- Weighing and dispensing powders from a recipe sheet
- Operating control and quality checks throughout production
- Machine deep cleaning and maintenance
- Filling all relevant production paperwork with accuracy
- Maintain high levels of hygiene

Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit and able to cope with the rigours of fast paced environment including standing, walking, reaching, lifting medium weight loads and bending duties.
- You need to have worked in a factory environment
- You need to have a previous experience in online retail dispatch
Although we do require previous experience in a factory environment, a full training scheme will be implemented in your first week including the opportunity to gain internationally recognised certifications!
Additional requirements:
- Read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Perform basic maths using a calculator
- Basic computer knowledge
- Accurate and diligent way of working
- Work well under pressure
- Maintain good working relationships with peers
- Organise and prioritise workload

Job Type: Full time – Monday to Friday
7.30am to 4pm with a 30 minute lunch break
28 days holidays per year
Starting salary: £12.50/hour (depending on experience)
This job role is not suitable for remote work.
