Main Purpose of Job: To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. To offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. To receive, assist and direct patients in a courteous, efficient and effective way in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional.
To undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice.
