Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled manual digital Mill Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating milling machines. This role involves angle grinding, fabricating, assembling, and handling materials to ensure efficient production processes. The Mill Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate milling machines and equipment effectively to produce high-quality components.
- Assemble and fabricate parts according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilise tooling and logic controllers for precise machining operations.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating milling machines.
- Familiarity with tooling, and materials handling is advantageous.
- Experience in angle grinding and assembly work
