We’re currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our friendly, hardworking finance department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop a long-term career within a supportive and professional team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll support the finance team with a variety of essential accounting tasks, including:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Preparing month end results, along with analysing variances.
- Handling end-of-month (EOM) financial procedures.
- Collating information for preparing and submitting VAT and other statutory returns.
- Reconciling bank and loan balances across multiple accounts and entities.
- Processing intercompany transactions and journals.
- Reconciliation of credit card transactions
- Assisting with the preparation of the statutory accounts and year end audit
- General Ad Hoc duties
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in management accounts or similar finance role.
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and EOM processes.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage)
Great attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
AAT qualified or Higher (preferred).
