Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at St. Josephs Convent Nursing in Stafford. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our facility by maintaining equipment and infrastructure, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues as they arise.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in maintenance tasks.
- Operate programmable logic controllers for automated systems.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe environment for residents.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, particularly in healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and schematics.
- Welding skills are preferred but not essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
