Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance tasks, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Assist in training new maintenance staff on procedures and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in welding and maintaining various types of machinery.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs independently.
- Leadership skills with experience in supervising teams or projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
