Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to maintain and supervise various equipment and facilities. This role requires excellent leadership skills, customer service orientation, and the capability to read and interpret schematics. The Caretaker will play a crucial role in ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Maintain and oversee the functionality of equipment, ensuring all systems are operational.
- Supervise and lead a small team of staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and other technical equipment.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a caretaker or similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise effectively.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of logic controllers is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong logical reasoning abilities.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks as required by the role.
