At Rowcroft Hospice, our Vision is to make every day the best day possible for patients, and those closest to them, living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon. Working as part of a small Estates team, this role will deliver this vision by participating in the maintenance of the fabric and structure of all the Hospice buildings (including our retail outlets), as well as contributing to various on-going grounds maintenance work.
What you’ll bring
We are seeking a maintenance apprentice who is a strong team player and communicator, able to build positive working relationships, and demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have good problem solving and customer service skills and be eager to learn, develop new skills and grown within the role.
Candidates will need to have GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade 4 and above and a clean UK driving licence.

Working in a varied active role, where no two days are ever the same, the successful candidate will be receiving full training and support from our skilled maintenance team and will attend South Devon College one day a week to complete a Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship (Level 2) over two years.
