Job description
Maintenance person required to carry out general repairs and have a good understanding of health & safety rules and regulations.
Applicants will have either trade or basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and fire safety.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with the home manager and reporting maintenance issues
- Compliance checks.
- Complying with operational, safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
- General repairs including electrics & plumbing
- Painting, light decorating, and refurbishing rooms
We require
- Working knowledge and management of the Health & Safety regulations
- Full UK driving licence with access to own car
- Ability to carry out a variety of repair jobs and manage work schedule
- Experience within a care home, hotel, school or similar environment
