We are the UK’s largest supplier of CNC machine tools. Our headquarters are based in a modern 98,000 square foot factory less than 4 minutes from junction 27 of the M5 motorway.
The stores office is a key department within our company housing over £ 2 million of stock and supplying machinery parts to our service department, production department as well as customers.
We are looking for a Production Machine Builder (Ideally suited to someone with a mechanical background). You will play a key role in assembling, testing and preparing state of the art CNC lathes and mills to ISO standard. The role is hands on, detail driven and ideal for someone with a passion for mechanical and electrical engineering.
Main responsibilities:
- Assemble CNC lathe and mills from castings to finished systems.
- Install CNC software packages.
- Install and test mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Carry out calibration to achieve ISO requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical build issues.
Desired skills and experience:
- Background in engineering or mechanics
- Understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances and assembly principles.
- Good ability of using hand tools.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent high quality, built machines.
Salary will depend on experience. Hours of Work: 07:45 - 17:00 Mon to Thurs, 08:30 - 12:30 Fridays (39 hours)

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
