We are seeking term-time and Holiday club roles for our forest school
Term time hours 9-4 duel role forest school and nursery.
Holiday club hours 8-5
We seek a nurturing, enthusiastic, and reliable person with experience in childcare and a genuine love for the outdoors—someone with a sense of humour, common sense, and a can-do attitude!
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Forest school level 2 or 3 we also consider persons working towards their forest school qualification.
- Minimum of Level 2 or above in Early Years Childcare or equivalent.
- Work experience within an Early Years Setting.
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN, safeguarding.
- Ability, flexibility and willingness to take on other responsibilities or duties as deemed necessary.
- To be able to build strong, supportive and professional relationships with children, families and your team.
- Enjoys being in a woodland environment and is comfortable supporting children's outdoor learning.
- Happy to be outside all day, whatever the weather.
- Have good Forest School understanding and the Ethos behind it.
- Is happy to commute between Brighton and Charlwood, and Worthing.
Physical Demands
The work requires moderate levels of physical effort. It involves lifting and handling equipment and other resources and being involved in practical activities and physical care of learners and the physical outdoor environment. The role is almost exclusively out of doors and will require working on uneven surfaces and in unpredictable weather conditions.
JOB DETAILS
- Hours: 40 hour week over five days.
- Qualification: Level 2 or above in Early Years Childcare or equivalent and a Forest School Qualification or willing to train towards a Forest School Qualification
- Location: Charlwood/Brighton/Worthing

Pay: £12.90-£13.90 per hour
