Do you have a passion for the great outdoors and a heart for inspiring young minds? We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Forest School Assistant to join our nurturing and nature-inspired team.
As part of our Forest School activities provision, you will help create magical outdoor learning experiences which spark curiosity, build confidence, and foster a deep connection with nature.

What you will be doing:
- supporting the planning and delivery of exciting, developmentally appropriate outdoor activities
- assisting in leading sessions in the local woodland & parkland environments
- encouraging exploration, play, and risk-taking in nature
- recording and tracking children’s learning and development
- supporting and communicating with children, colleagues, and families
- promoting sustainability and respect for the natural environment

What we are looking for:
- minimum NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education
- at least 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within a registered childcare provider
- Forest School level 2 or 3 (desirable)
- a true love for the outdoors and a hands-on approach to nature-based learning
- a good level of fitness and energy – you will be active and outside in all weathers!
- team player with great communication skills and a nurturing spirit
