We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lettings Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the lettings process, ensuring a smooth experience for both tenants and landlords. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lettings process from start to finish, tenant applications, and tenancy agreements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all properties, tenants, and landlords in the database.
- Respond promptly to tenant and landlord inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Prepare and process tenancy agreements, inventory reports, and other related documentation.
- Conduct background checks and reference checks for prospective tenants.
- Coordinate property viewings and manage company diary
- Assist with advertising properties on various platforms and ensure they are marketed effectively.
- Liaise with contractors to address tenant issues and coordinate repairs.
- Maintain compliance with local laws and regulations related to property rentals.
- Provide administrative support to the lettings team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or lettings administration preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant property laws and regulations is a plus.
- A proactive and customer-focused attitude.
