Were looking for a motivated and confident Leisure Supervisor to join our friendly team at Ashburn Springs Leisure Complex, which includes our indoor and outdoor pools, gym, fitness studios, and activities.
As a Leisure Supervisor, youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our busy leisure facilities, creating a safe, professional and welcoming environment for all of our guests and members.
What youll be doing
Your role will be varied and rewarding, including:
Supervising the daily operation of the leisure department
Opening and closing the complex, following operating procedures
Leading and supporting the team to complete daily tasks
Lifeguarding our indoor and outdoor pools
Providing gym inductions and the opportunity to deliver PT sessions and fitness classes
Supervising a business area such as H&S, Class Timetable, Activities, all with a view to income generate
Outreach events in promoting the Cofton Holidays brand
Taking bookings, payments and memberships (in person and by phone)
Coordinating pool duty changeovers and staff training sessions
Supporting daily outdoor activities
Assisting with onboarding new team members
Supporting marketing and sales strategies
Delivering excellent customer service and handling feedback professionally
Monitoring and achieving both personal and team KPIs
Hours & Shifts
Rota issued weekly, (planned in advance)
Shifts between 6am and 9pm
Includes weekend working
What were looking for
Essential: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
Desirable: REPs Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent fitness qualification)
Desirable: interest in Outdoor activities
Strong leadership and communication skills
A positive, approachable team player with a focus on safety and customer service
Training Opportunities
