About the Role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Legal Administrator to join our Dispute Resolution team to provide effective secretarial and administrative support to multiple fee earners. Based at our modern, open plan office in Stockton-on-Tees, you will be joining a large, experienced and supportive team.
This is a busy and varied role, and the main duties will include:
· Corresponding with clients
· Typing audio dictation and other general typing work
· Preparing bundles and other documents for court
· Carrying out ID and anti-money laundering checks
· Opening and updating client files on our practice management system (Proclaim)
· Preparing client bills and completion statements
This role is open to candidates seeking full time or part time working options (minimum of 3 days per week). We also operate a fantastic flexible working scheme, to help our employees to balance the demands of their work and home life. Speak to us about your ideal work pattern!
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will:
· Have prior experience in a legal secretary role
· Possess excellent IT and audio typing skills
· Be able to prioritise and organise a busy workload
· Have strong communication and client care skills
· Be able to work well in a team and also independently
· Enjoy working in a busy environment
· Have a keen eye for detail and be able to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
