The Governing Body of Ysgol Caer Elen wishes to appoint 3 enthusiastic and energetic assistants to undertake the above position to start in September 2025. We will offer temporary contracts for one year, full time (30 hours per week) during the term, in the first place. The successful candidates will have the ability to assist in primary or secondary.


Pembrokeshire's first Welsh medium All Ages 3-16 School is Ysgol Caer Elen. The number of pupils has increased significantly in recent years and the school is fully committed to meeting the growing demand for Welsh language education in the South and West of the county.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this position. A full commitment to supporting and promoting Welsh language education is expected throughout the life of the school.

Fixed Term Post until 31/08/2026

Grade 3 - £24,027 for 30 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £17,112.50 pro rata rising to 46 weeks, £17,486.14 pro rata per annum after 5 years’ service.
