The Role

Our Transmission business manages a diverse and growing portfolio of projects across Scotland. We’re looking for a collaborative and proactive Lead Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll guide and support a team of Project Coordinators who play a vital role in enabling their stakeholders to deliver projects effectively.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment and is passionate about helping teams succeed.

You Will

  • Support and lead a team of Project Coordinators, ensuring high standards are maintained across all tasks. You’ll help the team meet deadlines, produce quality work, and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take on line management responsibilities, including mentoring, training, and handling sensitive matters with care and discretion.
  • Plan and forecast team resources to ensure capacity aligns with project needs, supporting long-term team success.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to maintain a consistent, high level of service—regularly looking for ways to enhance team performance and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the delivery of key project milestones, aligned with the LCP Governance Framework. A background in project delivery will be beneficial.

You Have

  • Experience in a project-focused environment, ideally within a similar industry.
  • People management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • A flexible and organised approach, with confidence in prioritising work and adapting to changing demands.
  • Strong teamworking and communication skills, with experience in leading meetings, managing change, and promoting collaboration.
