Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Person at Care Opportunities, you will be responsible for a wide range of projects across multiple homes, ensuring they are well-maintained and renovated to the highest standards. Your role will be critical in ensuring our properties remain in excellent condition and meet the expectations of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, carpentry work, electrical installations and repairs, and home renovations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with property managers to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance projects.
- Maintain a safe and organised workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work/ City & Guilds Plumbing Courses, BS 7671 Wiring Regulations, Relevant NVQ's.
- Advanced knowledge of home renovations and remodeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
