About Us
Consilium Hortus is an award-winning garden design and build studio specialising in premium residential landscaping. Our projects range from contemporary terraces and outdoor kitchens to lush planting schemes, bespoke pergolas, and swimming pools. We’re now looking for a reliable, skilled landscaper to join us on a subcontract basis for ongoing work on high-end gardens.
The Role
You’ll be working as part of our experienced team to bring our luxury garden designs to life. This role suits a competent, self-motivated landscaper who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Paving (porcelain, natural stone, setts)
- Decking and structural timber work
- Installing pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and water features
- Soft landscaping – planting, bed prep, and tree planting
- Groundworks and drainage
- Reading scaled drawings and working with precision
Requirements:
- Proven landscaping experience (ideally 2+ years)
- Own tools and transport
- Reliable, punctual, and professional on-site
- Ability to work from design plans and follow instructions
- UTR number and self-employed status
- CSCS and plant tickets (advantageous but not essential)
