Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the installation of gardens, patios, and driveways. The Skilled Labourer will play an essential role in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Candidates must undergo a trial to show proficiency.
Duties
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Irrigate gardens and maintain healthy plant life through proper watering techniques.
- Assist in the construction of garden features, including beds, paths, and other structures.
- Dig holes/excavate ready or installation of features as required.
- Carry out assessment duties to ensure the overall cleanliness and appearance of outdoor spaces and maintain timeframes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping and maintenance tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience in landscape maintenance, including knowledge of garden design principles.
- Ability to dig effectively and build various garden structures with precision.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor areas.
- A willingness to learn new techniques and methods related to gardening and landscaping practices.
