Kitchen Porter – Part-Time
Murphy Browns is seeking an experienced Part-Time Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated team of hospitality professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitise dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain the industrial dishwasher
- Keep the kitchen and storage areas clean, organised, and well-maintained
- Assist with basic food preparation and stock rotation
- Clean and sanitise work surfaces, floors, and equipment (including brushing and mopping)
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists
- Maintain strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Porter is essential – please do not apply without prior KP experience
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Position Details:
- Hours: Approximately 15+ hours per week
- Shifts: Weekday shifts starting from 12pm, plus evening and weekend shifts as required
- Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
