The Fleece at Ruleholme is set in a picturesque location and has been recently rebuilt to an exceptional standard. With 23 beautifully designed bedrooms, a function suite, a restaurant, and our charming Country Bar — complete with roaring fires — we offer a cosy and welcoming atmosphere for guests and diners alike.
We are currently seeking Kitchen Porters to join our team and provide vital support to our kitchen staff.
Please note:
- This is not a live-in position.
- Due to our remote location and limited public transport links, access to your own transport is essential.
The Role:
- Part-time, Full-time, and Casual positions available
- Hourly rate dependent on age and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs within their workstations
- Unload and store deliveries
- Organise and maintain storage areas
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors, and walls
- Clean kitchen equipment as instructed by the Head Chef
About You:
- Access to your own transport is essential due to our location
- A team player with a positive and flexible attitude
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and proactive, responding to the needs of the kitchen
- Available to work 5 days out of 7, with shifts varying between 9am – 11pm, including weekends and public holidays
