As a key part of our guest service team, you’ll help ensure a safe, smooth, and welcoming environment for all overnight guests and suppliers.
The Role: Evening Night PorterAs a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, safety, and cleanliness of the venue during overnight hours. You will be the primary point of contact for late-arriving guests and will assist with any overnight requests or issues.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor the venue and grounds to ensure guest safety and security
Perform regular checks of the property throughout the night
Assist with late check-ins, early check-outs, and guest enquiries
Maintain cleanliness in public areas
Support event setups/breakdowns when required
Handle any incidents or emergencies calmly and effectively
Liaise with other departments to ensure a seamless handover each morning
Previous experience in a porter, concierge, or night shift role preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Calm under pressure and quick-thinking in emergencies
Physically fit and able to carry out patrols and light lifting
Flexible with shift patterns, including weekends and holidays
