We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our hard working team at South Lakeland Leisure Village, Carnforth.
Shifts will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays (Split shifts Mondays-Wednesdays)
Own transport is required as our park is not served by public transport.
Duties Include:
- Assisting the Head Chef and all other members of kitchen staff with the running of the kitchen
- To ensure all pots, crockery, kitchen utensils etc. are washed, polished and stored appropriately and efficiently throughout service
- Ensure correct unloading and storing of food
- To collect and dispose of waste
- To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and cold/dry store areas
- To exercise economy in the use of power and other supplies
- To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required
- Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
- Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times
- Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role
