Kitchen Porter
Working in friendly, professional environment providing seasonal support for a busy breakfast service. Attention to detail is essential to ensure a high standard of service is maintained. Please note this is not a live in position.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Porter
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen environment, washing dishes and equipment, assisting with basic food preparation, and supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Follow hotel policies and safety protocols
- Ensure that all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist with any emergency procedures or evacuation drills when necessary
- Some physical tasks involved, such as standing for long periods and carrying light loads
Required Skills:
- An ability to multitask
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations is preferred but not required
- A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and colleagues
- Flexibility to work in different areas of the hotel if needed
Working Conditions and Salary:
- Seasonal role to 31st October
- 7.30am – 11.30am - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Working hours include public holidays
- Hourly rate is dependent on age and experience
- Training and uniform provided
- There is very limited public transport to the village, so employees must have own transport or live within comfortable walking distance to the hotel
- This is not a live in position

- Hotel owners
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.79-£12.82 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
