Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter (KP) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen while supporting our chefs in food preparation. This role is essential for ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Help with the washing up of dishes, pots, and pans to ensure a steady supply of clean items for cooking and serving.
- Support chefs in organising.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed within the kitchen environment.
- Help maintain a tidy kitchen area by disposing of waste appropriately and ensuring recycling protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is welcome but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Hours are negotiable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 50 per week
