We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a Care Home environment.
The ideal candidate will assist in meal and food preparation, supporting the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality and nutritious dishes.
Responsibilities
- Aid in food preparation tasks under the guidance of kitchen staff
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Help with basic cooking tasks as required
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of culinary practices and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a kitchen setting
- Willingness to learn and assist with various kitchen duties
Wk1 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Wk2 Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8.30am-2.30pm
Job Type: Part-time
