Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable joiner /Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and be able to work to a high standard This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
The Joiner / Handy Man will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Performing carpentry work, including fabrication and joinery
- Renovation work
- Install kitchens
- Fit doors,frames,and finishings
- And all other internal joinery
- External joinery including fencing, decking and garden rooms
- Utilising both power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and completing tasks efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Proven experience
- Strong skills in joinery, assembly, power tools, hand tools
- A solid understanding of building principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Driving licence is necessary
