Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to perform in teh house building and kittings fitting sectors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as well as proficiency in using power tools and other equipment necessary for high-quality craftsmanship. The Joiner will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install wooden structures such as doors, windows, and furniture.
- Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all cuts and fittings are accurate.
- Use power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during fabrication or installation phases.
Experience
- Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous.
- Proficient in using various power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
- Ability to plumb structures accurately during assembly is preferred.
- Experience with roofing projects is a plus.
- A keen attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
