Join Our Team as a Sessional IT Tutor – Inspire Adult Learners in Cornwall
Are you skilled in IT with a passion for sharing your knowledge? We’re looking for a dynamic and dedicated tutor to deliver engaging IT courses at our Adult Education Centres in Bude and Launceston, with additional opportunities to lead outreach sessions across East Cornwall.
In this rewarding role, you’ll be responsible for teaching Digital Functional Skills courses at Entry Level 3 and Level 1. You’ll also have the opportunity to deliver outreach programmes in partnership with local organisations, helping to broaden access to digital learning across the community.

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality, inspiring IT lessons to adult learners.
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to learners’ needs and goals.
- Assess learners’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer appropriate support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates and encourages learners to succeed.
- Collaborate with our quality team to ensure compliance with Ofsted standards.
- Support and guide Learning Support Assistants when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors with a passion for teaching IT (holding at least a Level 2 qualification in IT).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to helping every learner achieve their potential.
- Flexibility to teach during the day or evening, depending on availability and learner interest.
If you are not already a qualified teacher, funding may be available to support teacher training.
