Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor to join WonderStem Academy. The ideal candidate will have experience working with A Level students specifically for A Level Edexcel Maths and A Level OCR Computer Science
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts across various subjects
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
Requirements
- Must be available on weekdays between 4:30pm-7:30pm on days upon discussion
- Must be available on weekdays for times upon discussion
- Be enrolled in a STEM degree or studying STEM based subjects
- Have good grades in STEM subjects
- Have previous tutoring experience (optional)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A genuine passion for educating and helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Patience, Patience, Patience!! Show patience and empathy.
This role is ideal for A level students or university students.
Pay : £9.00-£11.00 per hour
