Job Description – Inventory and Logistics Assistant
Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in UK import customs clearance, including preparation of documentation and coordination with brokers and relevant authorities.
· Understanding of UK cross-border trade procedures, particularly with China, the United States, and EU markets.
· Proficient in logistics management systems or similar inventory and tracking platforms.
· Demonstrated experience in cross-border collaboration, especially working closely with teams based in China.
· Strong analytical and comprehension skills, with the ability to interpret technical shipment data and navigate complex multi-country regulatory requirements.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse teams.
· Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional hours outside of standard UK business times to support global coordination.
· Mandarin language skills are a strong advantage
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and support international shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with customs requirements.
· Collaborate daily with our China-based logistics team to manage outbound shipments and resolve any international logistics issues.
· Monitor and manage inventory levels, assisting with restocking of products at our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses in the UK, EU, and US.
· Assist in customs clearance processes, including reviewing invoices, declarations, and managing communication with customs agents.
· Maintain up-to-date shipment and inventory records in our logistics management system.
· Identify and resolve any shipment delays, errors, or discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
· Communicate and escalate issues to relevant departments or partners, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
· Provide logistical reporting and data insights to help improve inventory planning and shipment workflows.

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
