Internal Sales Coordinator
Location: Great Bridge
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: 12 weeks temporary (through our payroll), with the view to permanent
The Role
We are looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join a busy distribution unit in Great Bridge. This role offers the chance to secure a permanent position with a supportive and forward-thinking company after an initial 12-week temporary period.
You will act as the internal sales lead, handling customer enquiries, processing orders, and providing key administrative support to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for internal sales enquiries
- Process purchase orders, quotations, sales orders and invoices
- Liaise with customers by phone and email, ensuring excellent service
- Manage accounts and oversee order progression
- Ensure pricing accuracy and follow procurement processes
- Support internal teams to meet deadlines and improve processes
- General administration duties (filing, scanning, record-keeping)
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and ISO9001:2015 standards
About You
- Proactive, positive, and customer-focused
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
- Previous customer service and administration experience
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution is desirable but not essential
