The Role
We're looking for an Engagement & Internal Communications Executive to bring energy, creativity, and clarity to how we connect with our operational teams across our Distribution and Supply Chain functions.
In this exciting, hands-on role, you'll be a key player in shaping and delivering impactful comms and engagement campaigns that inform, inspire and unite our frontline colleagues – ensuring they feel connected to our purpose, priorities and each other.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Supply Chain leaders to deliver clear, effective comms on operational changes, metrics and transformation goals
Create engaging campaigns for warehouse and production teams using accessible, shift-friendly formats
Translate operational data into stories that highlight impact and performance
Coordinate town halls, huddles, and cross-shift updates
Support safety, quality and performance messaging with Health & Safety and CI teams
Upload and manage content on our intranet and comms channels
Ensure measurement, reporting and comms processes are accurate and up to date
Act as a voice for our operational teams – surfacing feedback and driving improvements
Location: This is a hybrid role based in Burton, with the requirement to be in the office 4 days per week.
The Person
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Experience in internal comms, ideally in warehouse or manufacturing settings
- Confident using PowerPoint, intranet tools and open to learning new tech (e.g. InDesign, video editing)
- Skilled in tailoring messages to different audiences across varied channels
- Great at managing multiple projects and collaborating across teams
- Curious, proactive, and passionate about engaging people through communications
- A good understanding of what drives colleague engagement
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
