About the Role
As Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and effective delivery of high-voltage and low-voltage cable laying schemes. You’ll manage site teams and subcontractors, coordinate plant and materials, and ensure works are delivered to specification, on time, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate HV & LV cable laying projects across multiple sites.
- Lead and support site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Ensure full compliance with DNO/IDNO requirements, permits, and quality standards.
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental requirements, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and site audits.
- Manage subcontractors, plant, equipment, and materials on-site.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Maintain accurate site documentation including reports, progress updates, and as-built records.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience supervising HV & LV cable laying schemes.
- Background in working under DNO/IDNO frameworks (essential).
- SSSTS or SMSTS (essential).
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation (essential).
- SHEA Power (essential).
- Strong health & safety knowledge within the utilities/power sector.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
