Cable Jointer Supervisor

If you answered yes to any of the above, then let’s talk, as we are seeking a Cable Jointing Supervisor to join our team working across our EV and Energy projects portfolio across the Midlands, South and Southeast of the UK.
Our Cable Jointer Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring our connections are designed, built, and recorded to the required specifications of the IDNO and DNO alongside overseeing contractors operate to the relevant standards. All whilst helping provide the highest quality service to our clients.
As our Cable Jointing Supervisor, you will also be responsible for:
- Supervising both Low and high voltage jointing activities
- Performing jointing audits on both low and high voltages cables across various projects
- Overseeing and planning connections for new supplies and making alterations to existing supplies where necessary
- Adhering to Distribution network standards and complying with industry regulations
- Supervision of Civils teams to ensure cable identification process is followed correctly
- Inspection and Maintenance activities when required
- Providing updates for any changes to designs to relevant team members
- Ensuring all details required for SORN and SAN processes are recorded accurately and promptly
We would welcome applicants with the following:
- City and Guilds 2304 qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience within a DNO/IDNO would be desirable
- Underground and overhead experience
- Test and switch experience
- NRSWA Supervisor qualification
- Have a team player mindset, problem solve practically, and work calmly under pressure
- Adhere to a high standard of health and safety towards yourself, and others under your responsibility
- Hold a full UK driving licence

Locations: Midlands, East & Southeast of UK with expectation to travel Nationwide when required.
