Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our establishment, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality, particularly those with experience in hotel settings.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure all areas are tidy and hygienic.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain an organised supply cart with cleaning materials and equipment.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or prolonged standing.
