Overview:
Come join the team here at Stoke Lodge Hotel! We are looking for a Housekeeper to come join our wonderful Housekeeping team.
Shifts are either 9am-3/4pm or 12pm-4pm. 18-30hours per week available.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cleaning the public and back-of-house areas in the hotel
- Clearing, cleaning and re-dressing guest rooms following departures
- Refreshing guest rooms during their stays; emptying bins, replacing towels and/or linens, replacing amenities
- Deep cleaning throughout the hotel in line with SOPs
- Maintaining the order, organisation and cleanliness of the housekeeping store rooms
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Adhere to health and safety standards
Skills / Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping preferred; preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Time-management skills and ability to work independently
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
