Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment of our award winning Hotel for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction through cleanliness and attention to detail.
Job Description
To ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the facilities and all accommodation demonstrating excellent competence in customer service.
Responsible to:
Executive Head Housekeeper
Head Housekeeper
Deputy Head Housekeeper
Main duties, including the following but not limited to:
To check as part of the supervisory team all hotel bedrooms on a daily basis including all vacant rooms.
Check public areas of the hotel for cleanliness and any maintenance issues.
To be fully aware of laundry practices & procedures. This includes the control, delivery and collection of all table and bed linen.
To deliver all housekeepers training and document appropriately.
To check on a daily basis in the absence of the Head Housekeeper and Deputy, staff requirements for the following days according to rooms sold. To try and cover all shifts in all areas.
To record and report all faults and damage in the rooms and public areas.
To maintain stock levels of equipment, consumables and chemicals
To ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and effectively.
To ensure on all occasions you observe safe and hygienic working practices in order to satisfy Health and Safety at Work and other statutory legislation.
To assist with the housekeeping operation as necessary, i.e., servicing of any areas where necessary.
To record, report and process lost property according to procedures.
To consistently deliver superb customer service
To attend training when required
To maintain health & safety in line with company policy and report any potential issues
All other duties as and when required.

Experience:
- supervisory experience within a hotel environment is desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
