Some exciting opportunities have become available within the busy Housing needs service. We are looking to recruit hardworking and highly motivated individuals to a number of roles within our single homelessness team.
Both roles offer a great opportunity to work within a supportive and high performing team within Adult services, whilst contributing towards the housing teams excellent work in supporting vulnerable households who are either homeless or experiencing difficult housing circumstances.
The role of rough sleeper navigator involves providing support to rough sleepers which includes operating and outreach service during early mornings and evenings to facilitate engagement with individuals who are rough sleeping.
The role of the complex needs case navigator offers specialist support to individuals who present with multiple and complex needs, often have a history of long term rough sleeping and require intensive support to develop the skills to live independently.
The successful applicants to all of the positions should have exceptional communication skills and be able to demonstrate the emotional intelligence required to support applicants who often present with complex and challenging needs.
Previous experience of working with vulnerable service users who have multiple support needs is essential for these positions. Please refer to the key requirements document for each role for more information.
