Summary
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as part-time Care Assistants, providing essential support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Opportunities are available in Bedford and the surrounding areas.
To be considered for this role, a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential. We offer a flexible approach to shift patterns, including mornings, days, evenings, and nights, with a typical schedule of every other weekend off to support a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans based on client needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a comparable caregiving role.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and in writing.
- Proven ability to create and implement care plans successfully.
- IT proficiency for tasks such as record-keeping and communication.
- A valid driver's license is required, and access to a vehicle for work is required
