Here at Sylvan House we are looking to strengthen our team with a part time Cook. Duties include delivery of home cooked meals for up to 20 residents, working in conjunction with the other cook, to provide a nutritious and wholesome menu catering to individual needs. The successful applicant will also have to demonstrate flexibility to cover the other cook in times of absence, leave etc.

Pay: £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 18 hours per week minimum
Qualifications & Experience:
City & Guilds/NVQ in Catering
First Aid (preferred)
Demonstrate required knowledge of IDDSI framework
Food safety and hygiene certificates (essential)
COSHH
Record Keeping
Cleaning & Maintenance
Meal Planning and ability to contribute to the creation of menus
Ability to adapt meals to service user needs
Stock management & rotation
