  • Engaging with the public and stakeholders in a professional and approachable manner.

What you can Bring:

  • Experience in highways or civil engineering works.
  • Computer literacy – ability to use systems to log inspections and raise orders.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • A full UK driving licence – essential for this role.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a supportive, community-focused team.
  • Work in the scenic and historic town of Thirsk, with access to the North Yorkshire countryside.
  • Receive full training and development opportunities.

In addition to your salary, you will also gain access to:

  • A local government pension scheme with 18.1% employer contribution
  • Salary sacrifice schemes
  • Employee discount benefits including shopping, supermarkets, gym discounts and more!
  • Travel loans
