Your role:
- To assist our Service Users with various duties and to promote independence allowing them to remain in their own homes.
- Supporting our Service Users mentally by showing care, compassion, understanding and by being a friendly and familiar face. We understand the importance of consistency in an individuals life.
- To carry out duties such as personal care, moving and handling, preparing and cooking meals, administering medication, companionship and social visits. Working as a team always!
- To accompany our Service Users to social events, appointments, shopping and days out. Sitting Services are also available.
- Completing necessary documentation ensuring daily diary sheets; medication and charts are completed and logged.
- Whistleblowing - the safety and security of our Service Users is paramount. You will have a duty and the authority to report any concerns you may have and work closely together to ensure the well-being of our Service Users is monitored closely at all times.
- You do not need any previous experience for this role. We will provide you with high quality inhouse training, one to one and in small groups to ensure you receive the best guidance available. You will receive an enormous amount of support from us to ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to work within such an important role. All training is paid for and the time you attend.
- Of course this role requires so much more and highlights the level of involvement and impact you have to a person's life and well-being. We cannot stress how important our Care Team are and the fantastic service they provide is second to none.
