About us:
St Georges Lodge Residential Care Home are seeking to recruit Bank Health Care Assistants to join our enthusiastic and dedicated care team.
We are looking are bank staff to cover day and night shifts.
As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days/nights you work will vary.
As an independent residential care home providing kind, compassionate care to 26 residents, we are looking for people who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for the older generation.
Shift patterns can comprise of:
Dayshifts -
8am-2pm
2pm-8pm
8am-8pm
Nightshifts -
8pm - 8am
Your responsibilities will be to provide personal care to residents, supporting them to be as independent as possible. You will be offering support with nutritional needs, recording the care delivered to each resident and will also help and engage in activities, personal errands and general assistance with the daily lives of the residents.
Desirable skills include:
- An NVQ or diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 or The Care Certificate.
- As this is a Bank position we do require you to have experience.
The successful person will be motivated, reliable and willing to work as part of a team to help deliver outstanding care to the residents of St Georges Lodge.
- Enhanced DBS and references will be required. DBS will be paid for by the company.
- It is an expressed term of employment that you must have had and be able to evidence a double vaccination against COVID-19 and any boosters that may be applicable.
