Ocean Infinity is seeking a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to lead the global procurement team and help shape a maturing supply chain function. This role will suit someone who is equally comfortable with operational execution and process improvement, while also being able to drive supplier relationships, elevate procurement to a more proactive partner in planning, and champion long-term efficiency across the organisation.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency, quality assurance, and supply chain optimisation;
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish vendor partnerships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
- Lead the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and contract management activities to meet organisational objectives and performance goals;
- Monitor procurement metrics, analyse market trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost savings;
- Streamline supply chain processes, inventory control, demand forecasting, and supplier performance to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks;
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships;
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfilment to ensure seamless product delivery;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations in procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations;
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier relationships, inventory management, and transportation delays to maintain operational resilience;
- Engage with internal stakeholders, senior management, and external partners to align procurement and logistics strategies with organisational objectives;
- Act as a change agent to develop scalable procurement processes and governance frameworks that support disciplined cost control and reliable vendor performance;
- Champion the procurement and logistics function internally to ensure it is recognised as a strategic contributor.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred;
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or related roles, with demonstrated project management and process improvement expertise;
- You’re comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-growth environments, and are motivated by the challenge of building process and influence in a complex global organisation;
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and collaborative mindset;
- You understand the importance of balancing short-term delivery with long-term relationship-building in supply chain ecosystems;
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite), data analysis tools, and supply chain technologies;
- Knowledge of industry best practices, market trends, regulatory requirements, and sustainability principles in procurement and logistics.
Desirable:
- Experience in supplier and subcontractor auditing;
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite;
- Previous experience in Ocean Infinity’s areas of operation (marine, survey, offshore).
Salary for this position: Up to £100,000 per annum
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
