What You’ll Be Doing
Commercial Strategy & Negotiation
- Lead high-value contract negotiations with global aerospace and advanced manufacturing clients.
- Redesign and re-negotiate long-term agreements, moving away from outdated 5-year models into more agile and profitable structures.
- Build innovative pricing frameworks that clearly demonstrate value and competitive edge.
- Ensure commercial compliance in regulated, technical, and globally complex environments.
Business Development & Growth
- Expand existing aerospace accounts while identifying and converting new opportunities across adjacent industries.
- Support bids and programmes requiring commercial, technical, and regulatory alignment.
- Manage a varied sales pipeline—from short-cycle wins to major long-term pursuits.
Strategic Relationship Leadership
- Develop senior-level relationships across OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and global partners.
- Navigate board-level and procurement discussions with authority, maturity, and strategic foresight.
- Position the business as a trusted partner delivering engineering excellence and commercial innovation.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience:
- Strong commercial background in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or another regulated technical sector.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex, high-value contracts.
- Understanding of how large corporates operate, and experience engaging with global OEMs or Tier 1/Tier 2 supply chains.
- Clear track record of driving commercial wins that deliver measurable business impact.
Desirable:
- Expertise in long-term contract lifecycle management and innovative pricing models.
- Experience of influencing wider business strategy beyond immediate sales functions.
- Strong leadership style with ability to mentor and shape commercial teams.
