The Head Door Supervisor is a SAFECROWDS ambassador who champions a culture of togetherness between the team and our clients, and they will encourage all workers to be the best version of themselves. They will promote a safe, engaging workplace for their team and consistently demonstrate high levels of integrity in all areas of their work.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Lead and manage a team of experienced door staff and ensure that they consistently uphold the highest standards of customer service and safety.
- Make use of company equipment such as tablets and work phones to effectively manage your team; for example, clocking in and out of shift, logging reports, contacting staff who are late to shift.
- Collaborate with your team and the client to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and venue-specific policies.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and property.
- Ensure that your team conduct all of their duties diligently and in accordance with relevant SIA regulations.
- Maintain constant vigilance to identify potential threats, unauthorised entry, or suspicious behaviour, and take the necessary actions to address them.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner
- Prevent and manage conflicts or disturbances effectively, ensuring a calm and safe atmosphere.
- Report incidents and write detailed incident reports as required; including carrying out further investigations where reports are missing information or detail.
- Support with recruiting door staff and stewards; including scheduling and holding interviews.
- Act as the bridge between Head Office, the client and the team to ensure all information is cascaded effectively.
- Managing any conduct issues that arise within the team during the shift in a direct and fair way, linking in with the Operations Manager or HR team as required. For example, lateness, uniform, staff being on position, breaks, breaching customer policies.
- Developing your team through open, honest conversations, and conduct employee appraisals.
- Attend all meetings and training days arranged by SAFECROWDS for the development of you and your team.

- A valid SIA Door Supervisor License
