We are a Facilities Management company and due to rapid growth we are looking to recruit experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leaders to work on a full time permanent basis. Based in Wednesbury applicants will be required to service our Commercial Grounds Maintenance contracts with a range of different tasks and scheduled works on a variety of sites in and around the West and East Midlands.
Applicants will need to be organised and capable of manual tasks, 2 years experience is essential. Working as part of a team - applicants will need to complete all duties given to mandatory quality standards and be compotent using tools such as blowers , strimmers , hedge cutters and Lawn mowers.
Duties include:
- Mow using ride on and pedestrian mowers , edge and fertilise lawns, strimming.
- Weed control.
- Trim hedges, shrubs and small trees
- Litter picking
- Apply herbicides, fungicides or insecticides on plants or soil to prevent or control weeds
A full clean driving licence is essential and any of the below -
- PA1 and PA6 spraying licence
The hours are full time Monday to Friday, however overtime may be available in the busy periods.
