We are a dynamic and growing window cleaning and working at height services company based in the UK, serving both domestic and commercial customers. Alongside our services, we also operate an in-house trade counter selling professional-grade equipment and supplies. We're looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team to enhance our digital presence and support trade operations.
Job Purpose:
To manage and improve our digital presence, maintain and update the company website, produce visual content, drive promotions both online and in-store, and manage our trade counter POS (point-of-sale) systems and barcode product database.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management
- Update and maintain website content (WordPress/Shopify or similar CMS).
- Upload new products, descriptions, pricing, and availability.
- Ensure SEO best practices are applied.
Photography & Visual Content
- Take high-quality product and on-site photos for website, social media, and printed materials.
- Edit and optimize images for various platforms.
Promotions & Marketing
- Create and schedule promotions for products/services both online and in-store.
- Design and distribute email marketing campaigns.
- Produce flyers, posters, and trade counter signage as needed.
POS & Barcoding
- Maintain and update the trade counter point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Add new products with accurate descriptions, prices, and barcodes.
- Generate and print barcode labels for in-store products.
Online Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and grow our presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create and schedule regular posts showcasing services, products, offers, and customer projects.
- Monitor performance and engagement.
Cross-Department Support
- Liaise with the field service team to gather project updates and feedback for marketing use.
- Coordinate with suppliers for product info, images, and pricing.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
- Strong photography and photo editing skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques (SEO, email campaigns, social media).
- Good understanding of trade counter or retail POS systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of barcoding systems and label printers.
- Familiarity with tools like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite.
- Experience in a trade or construction-related business.
- Driving licence (for occasional on-site photography).
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
